The Art Deco Three-Seater Sofa

This handsome and once much-loved sofa dates from the 1950’s. I acquired it from the original owner who had bought it new when newly married. The top leather now needs replacing to bring this piece back to its former glory.

As much as possible of the original springs and stuffing will be cleaned and retained in refurbishing this sofa using traditional techniques. A rich cotton velvet fabric, printed with a large format design in greens, blues and golds, will used to celebrate the deco styling. The fabric was developed by Zoffany Fabrics.
