The Deco Fan Storage Ottoman

This Laura Ashley storage ottoman dates from the 1980’s when the brand supplemented its clothing range with a range of home furnishing. Well used and heavily stained the ottoman was sourced from a home in Buckinghamshire.

New foam was used throughout to support the deep buttoning introduced to the lid in support of the new art deco styling. The original foam was however retained for re-use in another project. A woollen interliner was added to comply with current fire regulations. The top cover is a plush polyester and acrylic blend, treated with a fire-retardant backing.
